[0:00] in another investigation in Washington.
[0:02] This one for murder. K2's John Capel is
[0:04] live in our southwest and on the ground.
[0:06] Our chief foreign correspondent Lara
[0:08] Logan begins our coverage from the
[0:10] border that separates Lebanon and
[0:13] Israel. Good evening, Laura.
[0:16] Good evening, Bubble. We're standing
[0:18] right here on the border where the
[0:20] Israeli army brings most of its
[0:21] casualties from the fighting inside
[0:23] South Lebanon. And from here, we can we
[0:26] can hear that there's still a very heavy
[0:28] battle raging there. The UN says that
[0:30] the worst affected areas have been cut

[1:03] can. After more than two weeks of war,
[1:06] the UN says people are becoming
[1:08] increasingly desperate, especially in
[1:10] areas cut off by the worst fighting.
[1:13] Well, we're so desperate now that we ask
[1:15] for 72 hours, which would be the
[1:18] minimum, to really try to help the
[1:21] children uh and the civilians in the in
[1:24] the crossfire.
[1:25] I cannot believe that we will not get a
[1:28] yes to this. But it's the children in
[1:31] Israel and Lebanon who Egalan says are
[1:33] paying an unacceptable price in this
[1:35] war. When there are more dead
[1:38] children than armed men dead in this
[1:42] war, there's someth
