[0:05] The American people need to know we're

[0:06] facing

[0:07] a different enemy

[0:09] than we have ever faced.

[0:13] This enemy hides in shadows

[0:16] and has no regard for human life.

[0:19] President Bush speaking just moments ago

[0:21] to the country saying that what happened

[0:23] yesterday was more than an act of

[0:24] terror, it is an act of war and assuring

[0:27] Americans that the enemy will not change

[0:29] our way of life, will not restrict our

[0:32] freedoms. An enemy can hide, he said,

[0:35] but not forever.

[1:09] sure that everybody who is joining in

[1:10] progress is completely caught up. So,

[1:13] here's the latest. Rescue efforts are

[1:15] continuing this morning. Victims have

[1:16] been using cell phones, we are told, to

[1:18] call search teams from from the the

[1:21] bottom of some of that rubble. So, the

[1:23] search is continuing. This morning

[1:25] several people have been pulled from the

[1:27] rubble alive and so the hope clings,

[1:29] hope continues for many of the people in

[1:32] the southern tip of Manhattan who are

[1:33] buried
