[0:00] good morning and welcome to week 54 of

[0:02] revelation reveal uh we're in revelation

[0:05] chapter 20 verses 7 through 10 today and

[0:08] we're talking about what happens at the

[0:10] end of the millennial kingdom so let's

[0:13] dive in today as we look into revelation

[0:15] chapter 20 verse number 7.

[0:17] the bible says and when the thousand

[0:19] years are expired

[0:21] satan shall be loosed out of his prison

[0:24] and shall go out to deceive the nations

[0:26] which are in the four quarters of the

[0:28] earth gog and magog to gather them

[0:32] together to battle the number of whom is

[0:35] as the sand of the sea

[0:37] and they went up

[0:38] out on the breath of the earth and

[0:40] compassed the camp of the saints about

[0:44] and the beloved city

[0:46] and fire came down from god out of

[0:48] heaven and devoured them

[0:51] and the devil that deceived them was

[0:53] cast into the lake of fire and brimstone

[0:56] where the beast and the false prophet

[0:57] are and shall be tormented day and night

[1:00] forever and ever

[1:03] here in verse

[1:05] 7 of chapter 20 we find the return of

[1:07] satan

[1:09] now let's look at the time and the

[1:10] duration of satan's release he is

[1:12] released at the end of the thousand-year

[1:16] millennial reign of christ for a season

[1:20] though this time is unspecified

[1:23] it does indicate that at the end will

[1:25] come to this season

[1:27] at which time satan will be cast alive

[1:30] into the lake of fire so he's there's a

[1:32] short period of time that satan is

[1:35] loosed

[1:36] now here are the events that take place

[1:38] during his release say to be released

[1:41] from the bottomless pit as we found he

[1:43] was

[1:44] cast in the beginning of chapter 20 into

[1:46] the bottomless pit

[1:48] and will go about the earth to deceive

[1:50] and tempt people to reject christ and to

[1:52] oppose him now you and i may be saying

[1:56] why would god do that

[1:58] well there's a purpose behind god's

[2:00] planning

[2:01] the reason he is released is because

[2:03] mankind still must make a choice

[2:07] between christ and satan between

[2:09] righteousness and wickedness between

[2:12] heaven and hell

[2:14] chapter 19 verse 15 speaks of christ

[2:16] ruling and reigning with a rod of iron

[2:19] and the sinner being a hundred years old

[2:21] shall still be accursed

[2:24] everybody during the millennium

[2:26] will be forced to be subjected to christ

[2:30] of course not everybody will like this

[2:33] thus at the end of the thousand years

[2:35] satan will champion their cause

[2:38] but this will be to no avail

[2:41] so

[2:43] satan will be least loosed for a season

[2:47] to deceive people he is the deceiver

[2:49] he's the father of all lies

[2:53] and

[2:54] the lesson i guess we could gather from

[2:56] this many say that a good environment

[2:59] will change the condition of men's

[3:01] hearts

[3:02] well this might help people but it won't

[3:04] change their nature

[3:06] the carnal mind is enmity against god

[3:09] for it is not subject to the law of god

[3:12] neither indeed can be so then they that

[3:14] are in the flesh cannot please god

[3:17] romans 8 7-8

[3:19] so christ gives mankind a choice god

[3:22] never forces anyone to follow him he

[3:26] gives everyone a choice

[3:28] so though satan will be loosed for a

[3:31] season

[3:32] now the revolt of those that he deceives

[3:37] satan the bible says here we'll find

[3:39] many followers it saddens my heart

[3:43] when i read verse number eight as the

[3:45] sand

[3:46] of the sea

[3:49] they'll gather themselves there are

[3:51] still tares among the wheat they'll

[3:53] gather themselves together from the four

[3:55] quarters of the earth to battle against

[3:58] god

[3:59] this battle of gog and magog is not the

[4:02] same battle as found in ezekiel 38 and

[4:05] 39 for ezekiel's battle is to take place

[4:08] during the tribulation period while this

[4:10] one takes place at the end of the

[4:11] millennium

[4:13] in both of these battles destruction

[4:15] comes in a supernatural way and is

[4:17] complete and final so the ezekiel 38 and

[4:20] 39

[4:22] references are not just

[4:25] this battle at the end there's a two

[4:27] battles of gog and megong

[4:29] and maybe we'll talk about that in a

[4:31] future video

[4:33] so they gather together

[4:36] they come from the breadth of the earth

[4:38] they compass the camp of the saints

[4:41] about so they gather around them that

[4:43] beloved city this is none other than

[4:46] jerusalem where christ has been reigning

[4:48] for over a thousand years with the his

[4:51] saints and they'll be included in this

[4:53] attack

[4:55] now as they gather around

[4:57] you'll notice it's god the father

[5:01] it's god out of heaven it's not jesus

[5:03] christ who fights at this time it's god

[5:05] out of heaven who sends down fire

[5:08] from heaven there's

[5:10] no mercy for if they would reject christ

[5:13] under the perfect conditions

[5:15] what hope is left for them

[5:17] and then we get to verse 10. now we want

[5:20] to talk a little bit about this battle

[5:22] that takes place

[5:24] now gog and magog in ezekiel 38 and 39

[5:27] referencing nations that come against

[5:30] god and the people there in the land of

[5:33] israel and there's a leader for them

[5:35] chapter 38 describes he that will be

[5:38] judged so there's a leader that they

[5:40] mentioned that's judged

[5:42] but here in our text we're looking at

[5:44] the end of the millennial kingdom and

[5:47] the judgment that comes and the satan is

[5:50] the one who is destroyed here when you

[5:52] study 38 and 39 of ezekiel you'll find

[5:55] that it's different than this battle

[5:57] here

[5:58] and so i want to encourage you to take

[6:00] time to read that

[6:02] but here in our in our battle the final

[6:05] battle that satan puts up it's a losing

[6:07] battle

[6:08] it's a losing battle because satan is a

[6:11] loser he'll never defeat god

[6:14] satan is cast the bible says the devil's

[6:17] cast in the lake of fire and brimstone

[6:18] where the beast and the false prophet

[6:20] are shall be tormented day and night

[6:22] forever

[6:23] and ever the devil is finally destroyed

[6:26] in verse 10 is the time that satan is

[6:28] finally cast in the lake of fire and

[6:30] brimstone where the beast and the false

[6:31] prophet are

[6:33] present tense

[6:35] they have been there for over a thousand

[6:37] years by this time

[6:39] so this kind of does away with the idea

[6:41] that the lake of fire or only

[6:43] annihilation

[6:45] for the punishment is

[6:46] forever they use the phrases here shall

[6:49] be tormented day and night there is no

[6:51] day in hell

[6:54] but the time frame that it helps us to

[6:56] understand with our finite minds day and

[6:58] night forever day after day after day

[7:01] after day for all eternity satan will be

[7:05] tormented for his

[7:07] attacks on mankind and the sinfulness of

[7:11] his own heart

[7:14] it will be a glorious day for the

[7:16] christian

[7:17] be a sad day for many parts of the earth

[7:21] one of the saddest sections in scripture

[7:24] is the verses we'll look at in our next

[7:27] upcoming video

[7:29] in our next video there'll be some sad

[7:32] sad verses

[7:34] now i'm gonna have an opportunity this

[7:36] next week to be out of town on vacation

[7:39] and i'm looking forward to that time but

[7:41] there'll be no vacation from hell it'll

[7:44] be eternal torment forever

[7:47] and ever

[7:49] but i want to remind you of something

[7:50] very important today

[7:53] satan is a defeated foe

[7:56] at the end god

[7:59] wins

[8:00] but every man

[8:02] woman boy and girl must stand before god

[8:05] and give an account of what they did

[8:09] with

[8:10] jesus revelation chapter 20 verse 11

[8:15] talks about the final judgment

[8:18] of all those who rejected jesus christ

[8:20] and we're going to talk about that in

[8:23] our next upcoming video and it's a it's

[8:25] a sad video

[8:28] it's a sad

[8:30] state of events in revelation chapter 20

[8:33] verses 11 through the continuation of

[8:35] the chapter

[8:37] but today if you don't know jesus christ

[8:39] as your savior i encourage you to find

[8:42] him to seek him

[8:44] the bible tells us in romans 10

[8:47] that for whosoever shall call upon the

[8:48] name of the lord shall be saved

[8:52] friend if you're watching this video and

[8:53] you don't know jesus christ as your

[8:55] savior you can know that today

[8:58] romans 10 9-10 tells you exactly how to

[9:00] do that

[9:02] i want to thank you for taking the time

[9:03] i know today's a shorter video

[9:06] but we just wanted to highlight a little

[9:08] bit

[9:09] that satan's going to be loosed

[9:11] but it's because god is a god of free

[9:13] choice

[9:15] it's important to remember god gives

[9:17] everybody

[9:18] a choice about eternity

[9:21] and if god gives everybody a choice

[9:23] about eternity

[9:24] maybe we could should consider that in

[9:27] the common events that are happening in

[9:29] our day and time today that god wants

[9:32] everyone to have a

[9:34] choice you for taking the time to stop

[9:37] by we'll see you next time right here on
