[0:04] start the company realizing I'd been
[0:06] losing my hearing and not noticing it
[0:08] and then only when I got a hearing aid
[0:10] realizing how much I had lost really
[0:11] opened my eyes to the fact that we all
[0:13] live our lives with limitations
[0:14] biological limitations that we don't
[0:16] really recognize are there first and
[0:18] biggest that we're focused on is memory
[0:20] 90% of what you experienced you forget
[0:23] after just one week what that means you
[0:24] know for a normal Tech productivity
[0:26] employee if you have a weekly 1-hour
[0:28] meeting you only really remember at best
[0:31] 6 minutes of that one hour from one week
[0:33] ago and we don't realize it cuz you
[0:34] forget it so you don't know what you
[0:35] don't know so we basically live our
[0:37] lives like Dory in Finding Nemo
[0:39] forgetting most of what we experien and
[0:41] you know maybe most of the time that
[0:42] doesn't matter but there's so many ways
[0:44] in which using those moments that you
[0:46] forget to give you a better experience
[0:49] and to give you context for things that
[0:50] can make you more productive make you
[0:51] more present we think that's a huge
