[0:30] traces of anthrax in a congressional
[0:31] office building.
[0:32] >> However, that building will stay open
[0:34] for now. Skip Logger is live in
[0:37] Washington DC. He's got the very latest
[0:39] developments tonight for us. Skip, what
[0:41] can you tell us?
[0:42] >> More anthrax detected here in the
[0:44] Washington DC area. Very small amount at
[0:47] CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia,
[0:49] and trace amounts at two locations in
[0:52] the Heart Office Building on Capitol
[0:54] Hill.
[0:56] Fine and floaty. The description of one
[0:58] scientist for that anthrax sent in a
[1:00] letter to Senate Majority Leader Tom
[1:02] Dashel's office last week. It was
[1:04] chemically treated to make it more
[1:06] deadly. It is pure
[1:10] and the spores are smaller.
[1:14] Therefore, they're more dangerous
[1:16] because they can be more easily absorbed
[1:18] in a person's respiratory system. Traces
[1:22] of anthrax have been detected in a male
[1:24] sorting building at CIA headquarters.
[1:27] Officials say the amount of anthrax is
[1:29] medically insignificant. A male handler
[1:31] at a state department screening center
[1:33] in Virginia has been diagnosed with
[1:35] inhalational anthrax. In Trenton, New
[1:37] Jersey, another postal worker tests
[1:39] positive for inhaled anthrax. And in New
[1:42] York, another NBC News employee has been
[1:45] confirmed having cutaneous or skin
[1:47] anthrax. Again, Attorney General John
[1:49] Ashccraftoft warns Americans th
