[0:23] translating it as I speak to you. It
[0:25] says that Mr. Yazov has left his post.
[0:29] It says that a call to the Ministry of
[0:31] Defense would not give confirmation nor
[0:34] denial of this, but it says we have
[0:37] information from Russian sources that
[0:39] Dmitri Yazov has left his position as
[0:42] the
[0:43] practical functioning director of the
[0:45] Armed Forces of the Soviet Union. And
[0:47] that job has been assumed by the head of
[0:50] the General Staff, Mikhail Moiseyev,
[0:53] someone whom Steve Coll can tell you a
[0:55] good deal more about. I have not heard
[0:58] anything about uh Kryuchkov's, Dan.
