[0:00] Let's go right now to Brian Norcross.

[0:02] He's the CBS News hurricane consultant.

[0:04] He's with our sister station, WFOR.

[0:06] Brian, how is this shaping up uh

[0:08] differently than Katrina did?

[0:10] >> Well, Dave, it's obviously coming in a

[0:12] little further to the west here. In

[0:14] fact, we can now see on the radar out of

[0:17] New Orleans and Lake Charles. We see the

[0:19] eye of the storm down at the bottom of

[0:21] the screen here. And this is going to be

[0:23] a very, very close call for the Houston

[0:25] Galveastston area. If this continues on

[0:28] exactly the path it's going, it's going

[0:30] to come very close to Houston Galveston.

[0:32] What we're counting on here is a little

[0:34] bit of a bend to the north to keep it

[0:38] Port Arthur, but just to the north of

[0:41] Galveastston Bay. And that will make a

[0:42] tremendous amount of difference in how

[0:44] much storm surge they get. By the way,

[0:45] Dave, I just checked in and New Orleans

[0:48] is already gusting to 36 mph. And no

[0:51] doubt the winds are much higher down

[0:52] there on the Louisiana coast just south

[0:55] of the city.

[0:57] >> Now, what about the difference in the

[0:59] way New Orleans flooded? Of course, a

[1:00] lot of their flooding was from Lake

[1:02] Poncha Train. Are there any issues as

[1:04] you head inland that we may see with

[1:06] water coming the other way right here

[1:08] along the coastline by Port Arthur?

[1:11] >> Well, it's not so much along Port Arthur

[1:12] coming the other way, Dave. But uh let's

[1:14] go back here to the radar picture and in

[1:17] Galveastston Bay because Galveastston

[1:19] Bay is a sort of a big inland sea. If

[1:21] the storm does co
