[0:26] the water so I'm leaving streets and
[0:28] airports empty out shelters are filling

[0:32] as the storm that left more than 100
[0:34] dead in the Caribbean approaches the
[0:38] southeastern United States forecasters
[0:40] make a dire prediction this could be not
[0:43] only a very expensive hurricane but a
[0:45] very deadly hurricane

[0:55] Beach Florida
[0:59] well as you can see the southeast is
[1:01] threatened tonight by the most powerful
[1:03] hurricane in more than a decade Matthew
[1:06] is about 100 miles offshore it's
[1:10] expected to make landfall overnight just
[1:12] north of here on the Space Coast of
[1:15] Florida near Cape Canaveral it is a huge
[1:18] hurricane
[1:19] 120 miles wide and it is strong
[1:23] sustained winds up to 140 miles an hour
[1:27] more than 2 million Coastal residents
[1:29] from Florida to the Carolinas have been
[1:31] ordered to evacuate
[1:33] nearly three thousand are in shelters in
[1:36] Florida alone
[1:37] President Obama has declared an
[1:40] emergency in Florida and now in South
[1:43] Carolina the governor of Florida is
[1:46] warning of potentially catastrophic
[1:47] damage flooding and power losses for
[1:51] millions that could last for days
[1:53] airport shut down thousands of Lights
[1:56] have been canceled even Disney World is
[1:59] shutting down that fantasy world gives
