[0:00] I think living in Mexico is starting to
[0:03] really change us. We wanted the kids to
[0:05] learn Spanish. If we're uh, you know,
[0:07] cooking some food and something drops on
[0:08] the floor, she goes, "No." She's like,
[0:10] "Don't worry about it." I kind of
[0:13] expected
[0:14] my career to slow down. And then I
[0:16] started meeting people in town and one
[0:18] of the people I met, we just started as
[0:20] friends and, you know, played paddle and
[0:22] slowly started to realize that we were
[0:23] both obsessed with AI. something that's
[0:26] been heavily on my mind the past few
[0:29] years. How does the second brain
[0:32] philosophy change in light of AI, the
[0:34] deeper I go into it, I see that a lot of
[0:37] the preAI ideas and principles and
[0:40] frameworks are not obsolete. They're
[0:42] not. I think AI is having the effect of
[0:46] massively increasing the level of
[0:48] uncertainty in the world. No one knows
[0:50] what's going to happen.

[0:54] Hey everyone. Around once a year, I like
[0:58] to do these life updates. I think I'll
[1:00] divide it between personal updates and
[1:03] start with those and then move on to
[1:05] business updates. We've been living in
[1:08] Mexico for a year now, which is hard to
[1:11] believe. It's passed by just so fast. Uh
[1:14] we arrived last August just in time for
[1:16] the start of the school year, and now it
[1:19] is August again. And uh it's kind of
[1:22] wild to see both our kids ascend a grade
[1:26] each for the first time because my my
[1:29] daughter, the younger one, was in
[1:30] nursery last year. We spent the summer
[1:33] about 6 weeks in California. Uh we kept
[1:36] our home there uh in Long Beach and and
[1:39] spent a good chunk of the summer
