[0:04] And the Trailblazers give the Golden
[0:05] State Warriors and a former coach a lump
[0:08] of coal. It's all next on News Channel 8
[0:10] at Noon
[0:12] >> from KGW, where the news comes first.
[0:16] This is Northwest News Channel 8 at
[0:19] Noon.
[0:23] Last minute shoppers are jamming up
[0:25] shopping centers parking lots. You're
[0:27] looking live at a picture from Sky 8
[0:29] over Washington Square on this Christmas
[0:31] Eve afternoon. Good afternoon. On this
[0:34] Christmas Eve, I'm Carl Click. Brenda
[0:35] Braxton is off. She will be back on
[0:37] Monday. Most of the malls in the area
[0:39] will shut their doors at 6:00 tonight.
[0:41] Do the math and you see you have less
[0:43] than 6 hours left to knock out that last
[0:45] minute shopping. Our pilot Dan Shively
[0:47] is in Sky 8 high over Washington Square.
[0:50] He joins us with the latest on
[0:51] conditions there. Hi Dan.
[0:52] >> Hi Carl. A beautiful day. Look, the fact
[0:54] I'm wearing sunglasses in the middle of
[0:56] December in Oregon has to tell you
[0:58] something. A great day to be out
[0:59] shopping and a lot of people are. Let's
[1:01] take a look down right now. Kurt Austin
[1:02] is our photographer and he's doing a
[1:04] great job looking at all those very
[1:06] heavily congested parking lots. We're
[1:08] down here in Washington Square as you
[1:10] mentioned. And look at that. There's
[1:11] barely a place to be found. It was even
[1:13] it's even a lot more crowded than it was
[1:15] last night and yesterday. Uh we've been
[1:18] trying to find little hints to help you
[1:20] if you're heading out to Washington
[1:22] Square. Well, there is a little bit of a
[1:23] tip. Here's an official SkyA tip. Look
[1:26] over there
