[0:05] Iraq's foreign minister arrives in
[0:06] Moscow. Will it be peace or war? In

[0:23] This is the CBS Evening News. Dan Rather
[0:25] reporting tonight from Daharan, Saudi
[0:27] Arabia. Good evening. Artillery and
[0:30] ground rockets thundered on the border
[0:31] of Kuwait and Iraq today, preparing the
[0:34] way for the biggest Americanled military
[0:36] assault since D-Day in World War II. At

[1:12] positive answer to their peace
[1:13] initiative. In other words, a timet
[1:16] table table for complete and
[1:17] unconditional withdrawal. But we are
[1:19] still waiting for results of that
[1:20] meeting to that historic meeting which
[1:22] has taken the last 3 hours. Aziz arrived
[1:25] 20 minutes before midnight Moscow time,
[1:28] giving reporters no word of the response
[1:30] he was carrying from Baghdad. He was
[1:32] immediately taken by limousine into the
[1:34] center of the ci
