[1:11] President Bush made this appeal.
[1:13] >> Our country is pursuing a new strategy
[1:15] in Iraq, and I ask you to give it a
[1:17] chance to work.
[1:18] >> The president warned that pulling out of
[1:20] Iraq now would threaten America's
[1:21] security. He said the more than 20,000
[1:24] US reinforcements on the way are needed
[1:26] to help stabilize Baghdad.
[1:28] >> I chose this course of action because it
[1:30] provides the best chance for success.
[1:33] >> Turning to matters at home, the
[1:35] president talked about expanding healthc
[1:36] care coverage to millions of uninsured
