[0:56] >> Good evening. Scott is off tonight. I'm

[0:58] Anthony Mason. After another day of air

[1:01] strikes and rocket attacks, Israel and

[1:03] Hamas are inching closer to a ground war

[1:06] in Gaza. The Palestinian militant group

[1:08] has fired more than 450 rockets at

[1:11] Israel this week. Three Israelis have

[1:14] been killed in the attacks. In response,

[1:16] the Israeli Air Force has pounded Hamas

[1:18] targets, killing at least 28

[1:20] Palestinians, including some children.

[1:23] Air raid sirens sounded today in major

[1:26] cities, including Jerusalem and Tel

[1:28] Aviv. Alan Pizzy is there.

[1:32] Nearly 100 rockets fired from Gaza made

[1:35] it into Israel today, sending people

[1:37] running for shelters.

[1:39] And for the first time ever, a missile

[1:41] reached the edge of Jerusalem.
